Affinity Works have been acquired by leading health and social care technology company, HAS Technology, whose portfolio includes the PAMMS Market Insight services.
Founded in 2014 to develop technology-based solutions that would allow public sector organisations to deliver improved and more cost-efficient services, Affinity Works now offers analytics and other support services to Local Authority housing and social care departments across the UK, including through their innovative Landscape solution.
PAMMS (Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution) enables local authorities to collaborate and use social care data to improve quality of services. It helps to share knowledge, allowing localities to take a risk-based approach whilst facilitating a wider view of the marketplace.
Ben Chance Head of PAMMS at HAS Technology said: “I’m delighted to be working with our colleagues from Affinity Works, who bring business intelligence know-how and sector experience to bolster our PAMMS team, at a time when demand for health and social care market insight services is growing rapidly.
The acquisition of Affinity Works will help delivery on our shared goal, of using technology, to provide market-leading data collection and intelligence insights across all integrated health and social care.”
Affinity Works co-founder Richard Wellings said “Bringing together the teams from Affinity Works and PAMMS will allow us to move forward at pace, delivering secure, easily accessible, actionable data for the public sector. The synergies in our aspirations and solutions mean it’s a great fit.”
HAS Technology has itself recently become part of the Access Group, whose health & social care division supports around 25% of the community care hours in the UK. This means Affinity Works solutions will now be part of a wider portfolio of innovative software that ultimately improves care delivery and shapes the future of care.
